Terms & community guidelines

Proposed terms for the Birdi Golf public beta, operated by Cybrik Ltd.

Last updated: 9 September 2026

Using the beta

Birdi helps golfers connect, organise rounds and club events, communicate and record golf activity. The planned public beta is for UK adults aged 18 and over and is free to use. Features and availability may change while testing continues.

Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in credentials private. Do not impersonate someone else, share access to another person’s account or attempt to bypass access controls.

Community guidelines

  • Be respectful. Do not harass, threaten, bully, discriminate against or exploit other people.
  • Do not post illegal content, sexually explicit material, child sexual abuse or exploitation content, threats of violence, scams or spam.
  • Share only content you own or have permission to share. Respect other people’s privacy; do not publish their private contact details or location without permission.
  • Do not use Birdi to organise betting, stakes or prize-pool collections. Pots are intended for splitting real-world group expenses.
  • Use golf, membership and scoring features honestly. Do not manipulate results or misrepresent payments.

You retain ownership of content you provide. The proposed permission you give Cybrik Ltd is to store, reproduce and display that content as needed to operate the features and share it with your chosen audience, subject to the privacy policy and your legal rights.

Concerns and complaints

Use Report user on a person’s profile to report their behaviour or content. Choose a reason and include enough detail to locate the concern, such as the club or game name and the message or post’s approximate date and time. Reports go to the Birdi team; reporting does not automatically block the user.

You can also block personal contact. Shared chats, clubs and confirmed games remain available after a personal block. Club administrators can separately ban users from their club.

Contact hello@birdigolf.uk for help, a rights complaint or a concern about a club administrator. Avoid forwarding harmful material unnecessarily. See support for what to include and the privacy policy for report handling and retention.

Under the proposed terms, Cybrik Ltd may restrict access or remove content that breaches these rules or the law. You may contact us to question a decision.

Golf arrangements and external payments

Players and organisers are responsible for agreeing bookings, attendance, costs, cancellations and refunds with each other and the relevant venue or provider. Birdi does not make a booking simply because a round or event is created.

Pots track shared golf expenses. Payments take place through an external provider chosen by the organiser. Birdi does not hold or transfer money or confirm payment; statuses are entered by participants or organisers.

Check the recipient, destination and amount before paying. Resolve payment or refund issues with the organiser and the external provider. Do not use Pots to sell Birdi digital features.

Golf scores and handicap calculations are aids to organising and recording play. They do not establish an official handicap submission or accreditation. Confirm competition rules with the organiser.

Leaving Birdi

You can use the existing account-deletion control or contact support. Read what is deleted and what can remain before proceeding. Uninstalling the app does not delete the account.

Service availability and your rights

The beta may have bugs, interruptions or changing features. Keep your own record of important bookings and payment arrangements. Nothing in these proposed terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your statutory consumer or data protection rights.

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@birdigolf.uk.
